Dear Colleagues!
The Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic and Osh State University are holding an international scientific and practical conference «CURRENT ISSUES OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND CONSERVATION OF BIODIVERSITY», dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Honored Education Worker of the Kyrgyz Republic, Corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, Doctor of Biological Sciences, professor Burul Karimova, which will take place on April 26, 2024.

Main research areas of the conference:
1. Economic aspects of biodiversity conservation and sustainable environmental management.
2. Conservation of biodiversity as one of the areas of ensuring sustainable development
3. Scientific and innovative foundations for sustainable development and solving socio-economic and environmental problems.
4. Agriculture and sustainable development.
5. Promoting dialogue on mountains and climate change within the framework of the UNFCCC.
6. Modern educational technologies in the formation of human capital in the context of sustainable development.
Forms of participation:
• speech at a plenary session (10 min.);
• speech at a panel session (15 min.);
• absentee participation with publication of the report in the collection of conference proceedings, the responsibility for distribution of which is assumed by the organizing committee (subject to timely payment for sending the collection and indication in the application of the need for a printed version).
Based on the results of the conference, it is planned to publish scientific articles in the journal “E3S Web of Conferences”, indexed by Scopus, Web of Science.
